JW Stone was founded from a simple idea of bringing the finest natural stone materials from around the globe to the continental USA. It all began when two childhood friends, Jared and Wagner decided to take a trip to Brazil to visit Wagner’s aunt, Sonia Scar, whose been in the natural stone business for over 3 decades. Jared who never seen a granite quarry in person, fell in love with the possibility of taking part in the natural stone business. In 2017 while in Brazil, the two friends approached Sonia with the idea of starting a granite distribution in Wagner’s hometown of Pensacola, FL. Jared invested in equipment while Sonia disposed of three full containers. Wagner’s vast background in maritime and ground logistic solidified their partnership even further, and JW Stone would eventually grow to become one of the largest natural stone distributors on the northwest region of Florida.
